Dr. Natalie Berg is the Vice-President of the City College Board of Trustees, and was first elected in 1996, serving three times as President of the Board. She currently serves as chair of the Personnel Committee. She has consistently balanced the budget and has led fiscal accountability efforts. Natalie has served the City College Community for over 35 years.

  • Former Dean of John Adams campus; established campus as main City College School of Health site.
  • Developed new academic curriculum, and coordinated programs with high schools and four-year colleges.

  • Doctorate in Community College Administration / Curriculum.
  • Taught English, History and Civics at City College, and was a part-time instructor in English as a Second Language and Economics.

  • Labor negotiator and city college administrator, experienced in academic programs, college budgeting processes, collective bargaining, and Community College legislation.

NATALIE BERG IS A COMMUNITY ADVOCATE

  • Initiated effort to pass City's Hate Crime legislation.
  • Developed job training programs in partnership with community based organizations

NATALIE BERG IS A RESPECTED DEMOCRATIC PARTY LEADER

  • Former chair of the San Francisco Democratic Party, current State Democratic Party member.
  • Active member of numerous diverse community boards and educational associations.
